Kevin T. Yen concentrates his practice in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. He graduated from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in June, 2000 and has been licensed to practice law since November, 2000. He has been a member of the firm since August, 2002 and currently manages the firm’s personal injury litigation department.

Mr. Yen is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He is also admitted to the Federal Trial Bar for the U.S. Northern District Court of Illinois.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Yen has finalized hundreds of personal injury lawsuits and claims by way of settlement and has tried a number of cases to jury verdict. His clients have included persons injured in construction accidents, motor vehicle collisions, criminal assault and sexual abuse, and as a result of medical negligence. These clients have suffered an array of injuries including spinal cord injuries, head trauma, emotional distress, and death.

Mr. Yen continues to help his clients by giving them the utmost attention and judicious advice. Mr. Yen thoroughly educates his clients on the legal issues involved in the lawsuit so that they are never kept in the dark. Terri A. Hilliard

Legal Assistant to Kevin Yen.

Terri has been employed in the personal injury litigation field for over 10 years. She is in charge of supervising the support staff in the firm's litigation department. Currently she works closely with attorney Kevin T. Yen.

Ms. Hilliard manages discovery related matters with a focus on involving the client. Often times, she acts as the liaison between the clients and the attorneys in coordinating their efforts in preparation for depositions and arbitration hearings. She plays an important role in ensuring that the numerous procedural details involved in every lawsuit are met. In this respect, she has extensive contact with clients. As a member of our office she subscribes to the philosophy that at Strom & Associates, communication between attorney and clients is essential to achieve maximum results on each and every case.
